Illustrators' Partnership of America is accepted into IFRRO
The IPA is pleased to report that the Illustrators' Partnership has been accepted as an Associate Member of the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organizations (IFRRO). IFRRO is an independent organization established to foster the fundamental international copyright principles embodied in the Berne and Universal Copyright Conventions. IFRRO works to support joint attempts by publishers, authors and other rights holders to create and develop rights management systems world-wide. Because IPA shares the same acronym with one of IFRRO's oldest founding members, the Switzerland-based International Publishers Association established in 1896 with 78 members in 65 countries, IPA has been asked to alter our acronym to eliminate the possibility of identity confusion. The IPA will be known within IFRRO as AIP,
