2006 HeSCA Media Festival Winners & Nominees


Because of circumstances beyond our control, the video, motion media segments, and still images for the 2006 Media Festival award winners listed below are not available to include in this section  For this we offer our sincere apologies.

The purpose of the HeSCA Media Festival is to award and recognize health communications media that demonstrate outstanding design and production values. The Festival is an international forum for health sciences media, which divides the submitted entries into categories, based on media format and intended audience. 

A demanding peer review process evaluates all entered productions using standardized criteria. These criteria include technical quality, production values and techniques, educational design, technological innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship of the media product. The following awards were presented at the HeSCA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC on July 1, 2006.
